This policy explains what data is involved when you use Blockwave ("the app"), a free, ad-supported puzzle game published by Bleach Games. We've kept it plain.
The short version
- The app's only data collection comes from Google AdMob, which serves the ads.
- Your high score, settings, and in-progress game are stored only on your device.
- We (the developer) don't run servers and don't receive your personal information.
- You can remove ads entirely with a one-time in-app purchase.
Data collected by advertising (Google AdMob)
To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) and other device identifiers
- Coarse (approximate) location
- Usage and advertising data (e.g., ads shown and interacted with)
This data is used for serving and measuring ads, including personalized advertising. On first launch the app shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt — if you decline, ads are shown but are less personalized. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Game Center
If you use the leaderboard, your score and Game Center player identity are handled by Apple Game Center under Apple's privacy policy. We only submit your score; we don't store it ourselves.
On-device data
Your best score, sound/haptics settings, and saved game are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.
Purchases
The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed entirely by Apple. We never see or receive your payment information.
Children
Blockwave is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Decline tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Limit ad personalization in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
- Buy "Remove Ads" to disable advertising entirely.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
